Praise God. Brethren Paul said "Take the teachings that you heard me proclaim in the presence of many witnesses". What have you been taught and by who?.
Brethren It matters a lot who introduces you to Christ and what truth is the person standing on to teach, because all I am seeing today is a generation that their system has been fine-tuned by many false teachings of the gospel and all I hear is “my pastor, my bishop, my prophet or my reverend said it and I believe it, without cross checking the word of God for confirmation.
Don’t get me wrong, I know that some preachers or teachers of the gospel are preaching the truth, beloved you need to cross check your scripture because most teachers are not perfect, they can make errors.
But for those false teachers and preachers of lies covered with fading truth by careful of them. E.g.
1. Once saved, is saved forever.
2. You don’t need to keep to some commandments, nobody should judge you Jesus has paid it all,all your sins are forgiven grace speaks.
3. Jesus prayed for everyone.
4. Women should not teach in the church.
5. Prophecy or speaking in tongues is more needed than the word.
6. Come the way you are.
All these sounds like the truth but are not, I call them “fading truth”. Beloved be careful.
Brethren the truth teachings has to be the same year in, year out, no matter the insight or revelation you receive from God, it will not change the truth, rather it unveil more mystery to the truth to make it firm truth, as it was from the beginning.
Now to the teachers of the truth gospel please it is a command, entrust the gospel to reliable people, faithful men who are competent (able) to teach others also.
Let this be noted in our churches of today, leadership is not for everyone, but everyone is important in the ministry,Let's teach our sheep these truth. And to you leaders please I beg of you all, don’t just put people that are not trustworthy, reliable, competent as lead leaders in the church because they are wealthy, or pay offers,tithes and contributions.
Because these people are the ones to teach others inside and outside of the church what is noble, right and acceptable in God’s sight in words and in attitude, not applauding their evil doing by saying the Lord understand to keep friendships, “Remember a friend to the world is an enemy to Christ”.
Please if you are a teacher,preacher and listener of the gospel take this matter serious. I pray may the good Lord see us through in Jesus Christ Name.
