The Unfailing Promises Of God

The Promise
This is what the scriptures say about God in Chapter 23rd of Numbers verse19, "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he shpould repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?"
In the new testament, this is what the Bible says about God snd His word in Gospel according to St.Matthew 24:35, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away".

PROMISES AND PATIENCE
Hebrews 6:12, 2 Thessalonians 1:4-5, Romans 15:4, 2 Corinthians 12:12, James 1:3-4, Isaiah 28:16. There are lots and lots of God's promises meant to better our lives, however, many of them are reached and enjoyed only by patience. For the Farmer to have the hope that if he plants seeds of corn they would germinate, grow and produce abundant seeds that would result in bags of corns later, that is already a promise of God but he needs patience.
Abram was given a promise of Isaac but he had patience to have him.

The promises of God are available but can elude you without patience. Abraham had faith but without patience he would not have been able to wait for the promise - (2 thessalonians 1:4).
The earlier you are aware that there are some blessings you can never have without patience and that is why the Bible declared categorically thus: "Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay on Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: He that believeth shall not make haste"(Isaiah 28:16).

PRESERVATION OF THE PRIVILEGE
Titus 1:9, Pslam 119:4, 69, 100, 103, 17-18, Colossians 3:16, Revelation 3:11, Hebrew 4:14.
What you can not preserve is what you have lost. You have always had a free and simple access to your certificates because you preserve them.Imagine how you have always made for your international passport without any stress or prejudice whenever you wanted to make an international trip. This shows you the picture of your exact position in terms of access to God's promises. They are already given to you but except you preserve them, you would lose them and then go without enjoying the goodies in the God's promises.

How do you preserve these privilege given to you? (Titus 1.9). It is by keeping the word of God. All God's promises are infused into the word of God. First, know the word of God, then keep jealously. (2 Timothy 1:13, Revelation 2:25).

POSSESSING THE PROMISES
This is a crucial point, this is where many people miss out. There is 1. Mystery, revelation and 2. Misery, nightmare. Mystery because when once, as a sinner you surrender to Christ by forsaking all your sins and accepting Jesus Christ, you become a new Creature, (2 Corinthians 5:17), immediately, you are translated from darkness to light, it is a great revelation. At this point you are entitled to God's blessings. But it is a misery to many who do not understand the language and mind of God and  so they continue in poverty and difficulty of life, crushing and intimidation of the enemy, life becomes a misery for such people (nightmare).
But you can begin to enjoy all these blessings of God:
 1. Healing: Exodus 15:26, 1 Peter 2:21, Isaiah 53:5
 2. Peace: John 14:27, Philippians 4:7
 3. Protection: Pslam 91:1-2, Proverbs 18:10
 4. Goodness of Life and Mercy: Pslam 23:6
 5. Provision: Pslam 23:1-2, Pslam 37:18-19
 6. Sanctification: John 17:17, Pslam 4:3
 7. Holy Ghost Baptism: Acts 1:8
