What will Be Your Reward

 MeldiestMorning.

1 Kings 11:4 For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father.

Praise God.

Beloved the scripture today makes us understand that kings Solomon "king David's Son" heart was turned away from God to other gods.

I believe many are familiar with this story of King Solomon having 700 wives and 300 concubines. 1 kings 11:1-3.

What he loved took away his love, affection, and attention for God, and he sinned against God. 1 kings 11:5-6.

Beloved Solomon desired women and his desire for God died. He loved other gods, did evil, and saw them to be normal because his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God.

Have you turned away from God to pursue your desire, loving the world, doing evil of all kinds, understanding and encouraging sinners in their evil ways, and it seems normal to you. Beloved your love for Christ has died. Take a break now that it is not too late to turn back to God by repenting because a day of judgment is coming. "Acts 17:31, Revelation 22:11-12".
