John 1:5 The Light shines on in the darkness, and the darkness did not understand it or overpower it or appropriate it or absorb it [and is unreceptive to it].
Praise God. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him not even one thing was made that has come into being. In Him was life [and the power to bestow life], and the life was the Light of men.

We do not have the light of our own. We get our light from the Lord and He is the one that fills us with His oil that we may shine.
We radiate the light of the Lord in us.
If there a lot of friction in your life. You need the oil from the Lord.
If the is no light in your life, its seem you are in a dead end cry out for light.
He will shine His life on you and you shall see.
