Isaiah 55:1 “ Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy grain and eat. Come, buy wine and milk Without money and without cost [simply accept it as a gift from God].
Praise God. We struggle everyday to acquire much in life. Shelter, cloth, education, food etc are what most people would need. But the most important of them all is food.
Food is the fuel that the body needs to survive that is why someone can be homeless, cloth-less (naked), an illiterate but does not care so much about that, what he or she cares for is how to feed the stomach. One dies easily without food than without house or clothes.
This is what happens physically.
Every human has phases of world,
1) The Physical world.
2) The spiritual world.
As we need food in our physical world so do we need food spiritually.
God provided a permanent spiritual food for us, He gave to us as a gift.
One can either accept or reject.
That Gift is Jesus Christ, He was given to us for free.
No need of using your money to buy salvation.
When you accept that gift you are saved from starvation, weakness and spiritual nakedness (clothed by His Glory).
You will be filled from spiritual emptiness.
After accepting the Gift you have to maintain your salvation because there is someone that does not want you to be saved. This being wants you to remain in hunger and die in starvation.
That is why he would be trying all he can to make sure you loose your Gift.
In the next message we would study more about this and how we can maintain our salvation, stay tuned.
