Guard My Heart And Mouth

Psalm 141:3 Set a guard, O Lord, before my mouth ; keep watch at the door of my lips.

Praise God. Beloved we should cry out to the Lord each moment of the day to guide us into the way of godliness and to deliver us from those that practice wickedness, for the Lord hears the cries of all His children. The Lord is not slow to respond to our pleading calls and He is not slack in fulfilling the many precious promises that He has made towards us.

David knew that he was a man of like passion and he knew that the thoughts that flood his heart could as quickly be translated into careless words that poured fourth from his mouth and so he determined to ask the Lord to set a watch over his mouth and to keep guard over the door of his lips.

Brethren let’s learn this from David. David knew out of the abundant of the heart the mouth speaketh , so he first of all hid the word of God in His heart, for him not to sin  psalm 119:11.

He also went further to say “Psalms 141:3 Take control of what I say, O  lord, and guard my lips.

Brethren if we can place God’s words in our heart and ask the Holy Spirit to help control our lips, no matter the evil thoughts, our lips will zip up through the help of Him that dwells in us, it is only the children of evil (world) that speaks anyhow, they speak words that does not edify.

Note: beloved your days, destiny and ministry can be shortened by your way of thinking & speaking (issues of life generate from the heart, power and death lays in the tongue).

Proverbs 13:3; “Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life; he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.

A word is enough for the wise.

G❤️❤️DM❤️RNING, Happy Sunday and Shalom.
