Praise God. One of the words we mostly hear from Christians of our generation is "it is my life, I am in charge of it"
Hear this, the life you are living is not yours, if you have truly accepted thee life of Christ then the life you are living was given to you by the Spirit of the Lord.
Then if He gave you life, He must control it.
You no longer do things by your own will but as the Spirit leads you.
Sometimes what you wish to do you can not do it, because you are not the one in charge of yourself.
If you are still being controlled by yourself then know that you are walking in the path of destruction.
If the Spirit of the Lord does not lead you the spirit of the devil will.
Galatians 5:24 says
And those who belong to Christ Jesus have put to death their human nature with all its passions and desires.
Are you of the Lord? If you are, then allow the Spirit of the Lord to be in charge of that your dressing, allow Him to control your speech, allow Him to control everything about you.
Because there is no how you can be pleasing your desires and God at the same time.
Galatians 5:17 says
"For what our human nature wants is opposed to what the Spirit wants, and what the Spirit wants is opposed to what our human nature wants. These two are enemies, and this means that you cannot do what you want to do".
Examine yourself today. Who dwells in you, controls you?.
