Mark 1:4 This messenger was John the Baptist. He was in the wilderness and preached that people should be baptized to show that they had repented of their sins and turned to God to be forgiven.
Praise God. Brethren baptism is not for fun, before one goes through that process he/she needs to know why they are to be baptized, is because you want to forsake your sins, confess them to receive the life of Christ by repenting genuinely and be forgiven.
Baptizing is done naturally with water, I want to take this opportunity to say to most of our leaders, don’t just baptize people for baptism sake, don’t take an unbeliever to baptize them it will be a waste of time because they are not ready to accept Christ.
Stop forcing them to go for baptism,We are to baptize people that are lead by the Holy Spirit to confess their sins, repent from it genuinely and wants to follow God without looking back, people like that will read the scripture with understanding and wants to be baptize with water which is the earthly way and Jesus Christ Himself will round it up by the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Beloved after you go through this stages then the urge of being a witness for Christ Jesus (the voice of the end time) will come.
Remember John the Baptist was the only voice in the wilderness preparing His way to come, He came as the only begotten Son, died/ resurrected and begot many sons.
Now this is the mystery behind His second coming, it will not be one voice in the wilderness now, it will be voices (the end time voices) in the wilderness preparing the way for His second coming (Rapture).
Brethren are you ready to be among those voices to be used? Hurry now to the Son, accept His life and the finish work on His cross, get baptized and follow Him. Hurry! Hurry!! Hurry!!!.
