Vows

Matthew 5:33 “You have also heard that our ancestors were told, ‘You must not break your vows; you must carry out the vows you make to the Lord.

Praise God. Brethren vows are very important, not to be taken for granted when you make one.

They are different kind of vows and all of them are important, especially vows that has penalties should be taken serious.

I do say to people I love taking vows a lot when it comes to the issue of seeking God and doing His will, but one thing I dare not try is swearing and making a vow I will not or can not fufill.

Brethren many of you might indurge yourselves on vowing, please don’t vow anyhow, get wisdom and understanding before you do so.

For instance, someone might be in the bethel and there is a call to vow for the building of a children department because a family stood up and vowed thousands, does not mean you do the same.

Vow what you can afford, vowing to advance God’s kingdom should not be a competition of flesh but of spirit, what do I mean, physically let us cut our coats to our size while Spiritually we can go extra length to advance God’s kingdom .

While making any vow, do not swear no matter your spirituality, when they call for vows, if you want to vow just say a simple, ‘Yes, I will,’ or ‘No, I won’t.’ Anything beyond this is from the evil one. Matthew 5:33:37.

When vowing keep to your vows.

Vows are more spiritual than physical.

Do not be forced to vow.

G💝💝D M💝RNING and God bless you.
