Shake The Dust From Your Clothes

Acts of the Apostles 18:6 But when they opposed and insulted him, Paul shook the dust from his clothes and said, “Your blood is upon your own heads—I am innocent. From now on I will go preach to the Gentiles.

Praise God. Brethren Paul left Athens and went to Corinth there he became acquainted with a Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, who had recently arrived from Italy with his wife, Priscilla.

There in Corinth Apostle Paul spent all his time preaching (witnessing) the word. He testified to the Jews that Jesus was the Messiah, because he himself was like them before, doubting and never believe that Jesus Christ was the Messiah sent by God to redeem the world from the hands of satan, his visit to Damascus changed everything including his thoughts (on his journey to Damascus Paul had an encounter with Christ), he that persecuted the Christian start bearing witness to the same Christ he rejected to be the Messiah. Beloved an encounter with Christ Jesus is what we the Christians of today should be longing for and not prophecies or miracles.

The people of Corinth opposed the Good News and insulted him, Paul did what most of we the evangelist of today will not do, we often think of persuading people to accept the love of Christ when they do not want to accept, he shook the dust from his clothes and said, “Your blood is upon your own heads, I am innocent. From now on I will go preach to the Gentiles.

Beloved they are billions of people to witness this gospel to, so if you are witnessing it to a particular group of people or person and they refuse to accept the Good News dust your feet and leave.

Brethren I strongly believe even as we are asked to preach, teach the gospel (Matthew 28:19-20), we can not change anyone if the Holy Spirit does not, and even if people don’t accept the message of Christ we teach, let’s not get angry or condemn them, we should do the needful when we see them in public and pray for them in our closet for an encounter.

G🎉🎉D M🎉RNING and Shalom.
