Jonah 2:1-2 From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the Lord his God. He said: “In my distress I called to the Lord , and he answered me. From deep in the realm of the dead I called for help, and you listened to my cry.
Praise God. There is a lesson to be learnt from Jonah. Right inside the fish, Jonah remembered all the Lord has done for Him. He acknowledged the Lord even in his mistakes.
To you today, you are in that situation, imagine how it was for Jonah, being inside a fish's belly, no light, no food. He didn't even know what will happen next but he remembered the Lord and how the Lord answered his prayers before.
You might be passing through similar situation, you might have gone wrong, come back to the Lord, He will light up your life.
It might seem you are in the dark, keep praising the Lord for what He has done, do not loose hope, the Lord that delivered you before can deliver you again, He can never change.
Stop running away from your responsibilities as a child of God that you are. Come back to the Lord.
Jonah said "But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the Lord .’ ”
Jonah 2:9
Make good today, for salvation only comes from the Lord. Hallelujah.
