Psalms 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Praise God. Almost every one (Christian) knows this particular verse, because it is being recite after prayers.
But do you abide in what you are proclaiming?
In this verse we simply notice that the psalmist was saying Goodness and mercy will follow him and after that he will keep dwelling in the presence of the Lord.
Not just for one day but forever, (which means he will keep acknowledge God in all his ways).
*Where is the presence of the Lord*
I always hear a lot of people, say the presence of God is in the church. They are not wrong because the presence of the Lord is to be in the church.
But the presence of God is not just in the church, His presence is everywhere.
So if you are showcasing holiness within the church premises and you are not showcasing it outside the church, you are deceiving yourself.
If you are not walking in the way of the Lord even if you make the church building your dwelling place the presence of the Lord is not with you.
Dwelling in the presence of the Lord is acknowledging His presence and keeping yourself upright at all time.
The presence of the Lord can be with you or leave you.
When the presence of God leaves you, the presence of Satan comes in.
Are you still in the Lord's presence?.
