Wise Answer

Mark 11:28  "By what authority are you doing these things?” they asked. “And who gave you authority to do this?”

Praise God. As a child of God, you have to be very wise. It is not all question that requires an answer. Some questions are traps for arguments.

It happened to Christ.

They arrived again in Jerusalem, and while Jesus was walking in the temple courts, the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders came to him. “By what authority are you doing these things?” they asked. “And who gave you authority to do this?”

(Mark 11:27‭-‬28)

Jesus replied, “I will ask you one question. Answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things.  John’s baptism was it from heaven, or of human origin? Tell me!”  They discussed it among themselves and said, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will ask, ‘Then why didn’t you believe him?’ But if we say, ‘Of human origin’ …” (They feared the people, for everyone held that John really was a prophet.)  So they answered Jesus, “We don’t know.” Jesus said, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things. (Mark 11:29‭-‬33).

Brethren they knew the truth but they wanted to bring up arguments with Christ.

Same thing happens in the world today. Many just want to hear that wrong thing you will say, many want argument.

Be very careful, anyone that wants to accept the truth gospel will do that, arguments does not make one accept.

Beloved if you ignore answering some questions and the people say that you are rude, please keep your mouth close and go your way. Silence is always the best answer you can give to them, be wise as Christ.
