Matthew 9:23 When Jesus arrived at the official’s home, he saw the noisy crowd and heard the funeral music.
Praise God. Brethren when something happened good or bad, you will usually see noisy crowds either rejoicing /mourning with you.
Beloved have you pause for once and think are these people really mourning/happy with me for the lost/victory as it is written in Romans 12:15 Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep.
These are two ways thought. Figure that out in your spirit mind.
The event here that made this crowd to gather was a loss (the daughter of a synagogue leader dead).
You can imagine how sad it was for her family, on earth mostly we go by the rules of death and funeral, in the spirit realm the rules are different death, Judgment, eternal life in heaven or everlasting condemnation in hell. Hebrews 9:27.
Beloved in this case they were carrying out the funeral playing music already.
I believe the Holy Spirit did His work here by reminding the leader of the synagogue that the daughter can live again if he has faith, which I believe the Holy Spirit led him to Jesus, gave him a method of approach: “he came and knelt before Him. “My daughter has just died,” he said, “but you can bring her back to life again if you just come and lay your hand on her.
Brethren Jesus went and brought the girl back to life, but before that resurrection event something happened, Jesus was mocked by the same crowd that was mourning with the family, Matthew 9:24, this leaves a question in my heart, were they really there of a good will🙄, if they were, it would have been a moment of joy to them, full of expectation that the girl will live again.
In this last days beloved, be careful of the crowd around you in good/bad times because they might not be what you think they are.
