Praise God. Brethren as believers we should learn from the events which took place in the days of old, apply it into our daily living.
King Herod Agrippa was blown away by the great ovation (honor) men gave him, shouting It’s the voice of a god, not of a man after his speech that got him full of proudness accepting their worship (taking a place of God) because the people of Tyre and Sidon were depending on Herod’s country for food.
His acceptance of their worship caused his death.
Acts of the Apostles 12:23 Instantly, an angel of the Lord struck Herod with a sickness, because he accepted the people’s worship instead of giving the glory to God. So he was consumed with worms and died.
Brethren please don’t take God position because you are rich, famous or you are have power to do evil.
Beloved this is a warning to you that believe without you a nation or people will not survive, and all you do is to command their respect/honor, be careful what happened to King Herod Agrippa is close.
Don’t allow humans to praise you to hell.
Repent! Repent!! Repent!!!.
