Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Praise God. Brethren before you can rejoice/delight in someone or thing you most have reasons or know why you should, (value/worth).
Must people don’t rejoice in the Lord because to them they have no good reason to, someone that doesn’t believe in something cannot delight in it.
E.g If I don’t believe a car can serve me in this life, someone got it for me thinking I will jubilate, do you know that person just wasted his/her time and money because I don’t know the value.
Most believers don’t know the value/worth/importance of salvation that’s why they will not rejoice in the Lord always.
Worth: the level at which someone or something deserves to be valued or rated.
Romans 5:8-9 But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Isaiah 53:5 But because of our sins He was wounded, beaten because of the evil we did. We are healed by the punishment he suffered, made whole by the blows he received.
Hebrews 4:16 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Brethren now I believe you see reasons to delight/rejoice/jubilate in the Lord always, prepare your heart always to receive from Christ as you rejoice in Him always. and again I say, Rejoice.
