The Pharisees and Sadducees.

Matthew 16:6 “Watch out!” Jesus warned them. “Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

Praise God. Brethren in the New Testament, you'll quickly notice that many people were opposed to Jesus' teaching and public ministry. These people were often labeled in the Scriptures as "the religious leaders" ,"the teachers of the law or “the Pharisees and the Sadducees".

The main difference between the Pharisees and the Sadducees was their opinions on the supernatural aspects of religion.

To put things simple, the Pharisees believed in the supernatural, angels, demons, heaven, hell, and so based on the law of Moses, they created out doctrines for themselves, while the Sadducees did not believe in all of that but have their believe on the written law only.

So even when Jesus was on earth they did not care about what He said or did.

Jesus had to warn His disciples against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees which was their doctrines so that they will not be deceived.

Remember in “Matthew 13:33 Jesus also used this illustration: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough.”

Brethren yeast is the same, when it comes to baking but let’s have it in mind that there are fake and original yeast.

If you received original yeast “the raw gospel of Christ, His Spirit dwells in you, if you allow it, it will quicken your mortal body for good things. Romans 8:11. But if you received the fake yeast it will make you remain the same,  dull and hard hearted.

Beloved we are in the last days

“Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

G🌼🌼D M🌼RNING and God bless you. Shalom.
