Hebrews 4:12 The word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword. It cuts all the way through, to where soul and spirit meet, to where joints and marrow come together. It judges the desires and thoughts of the heart.
Praise God. The word of God is powerful. It softens the hearts of the harden hearted ones and brings life to the dead souls.
Have you wonder what changes a dangerous/corrupt person to a very calm person. It is the word of God.
Sometimes many people see some Christians as cowards and calm people. There are many things that will be done to them, which if done to an ordinary man, he or she will react badly to, but they choose to remain calm. It is not that they do not know what to do, they are calm because The Word has broken them.
They are no longer controlled by the things (spirit) of this world but by The Holy Spirit.
Brethren The Word of God brings judgment, that is why you have to be obedient so that The Word which you read will not be as a condemnation to you on the last day.
Do not be the hearer alone but be the doer of The Word.
Have, The Word of God really broken the way you talk to people, Your desires, Your mode of dressing, Your mode of conduct and Your entire lifestyle?
Or are you just claiming to be Christ-like.
Be careful, Be warned so you will not be casted to the lake of fire on that day.
