James 1:22-24 But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.
For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.
Praise God. We are in the generation where it is easier said than done (the actions).
We have a lot of people that know what the words of God says. They know the truth but have refused to walk in it.
Do not just be the hearer of His words but the doer.
Beloved knowing what the word says and puting them into works, is gain to you both here on earth and in heaven.
Brethren it doesn’t make any sense when you say to people that you don’t know what you look like, they will look at you as if you are joking but when they find out it is true, some that are not broken by the word yet will call you a fool because to them it’s unimaginable for someone to forget his/her look. For you not to fool yourself you must do what His words says and not just knowing it to defend your carnality.
Beloved as you go to His temple today make up your mind to be the hearer and the doer of Christ words.
