Acts of the Apostles 8:8 So there was great joy in that city.
Praise God. Beloved it was recorded that there was a great joy in the city (Samaria), meaning the people accepted the true message about the Messiah, for that reason their heart were filled with joy.
The message of Christ brings great joy to any city, family, congregation, and nation that will accept it, but for people to hear and accept this good news, there is a need for someone to preach, teach or evangelise to them.
Beloved the believers who were scattered because of the persecution never kept quiet but preached the Good News about Jesus Christ wherever they went. Philip, for example, went to the city of Samaria and told the people there about the Messiah. The crowds listened intently to Philip because they were eager to hear his message and see the miraculous signs he did. Act 8:5-6.
Brethren Philip casted out many evil spirits they were screaming as they left their victims. And many who had been paralyzed or lame were healed.
My question today is what joy have you brought to your city,nation, home, church and God’s kingdom?.
Start working now and quit fear and complains because they will profit you hell, be bold and work for the joy of the kingdom.
