Mark 14:29 Peter said to him, “Even if everyone else deserts you, I never will.
Praise God. Apostle Peter said those words with self confident that he will never deny the Lord, then Jesus Christ told him “Peter before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me thrice because He knows the heart of men.
The same Peter was among the three disciples Jesus Christ took to Gethsemane when He went to pray and they couldn’t keep watch with Him for an hour.
I made all this illustration to bring us to this understanding - don’t boast on your strength or being so confident of yourself and forget the grace of God.
“I never will become I never know” When you want to use boastful word “I will never “ be wise to use it like Apostle Paul who boasted always on God’s grace. He didn't take the grace of God for granted. Galatians 2:21.
When you accept the life of Christ you said you will never go back to your old ways but today you are swimming and boasting in it. Think About It if you end up that way.
