Have You The Comforter

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever.

Praise God. God our Father and Jesus Christ our Savior walked in conjunction to present to us the Holy Spirit, who is our comforter or our advocate.

In the scripture we are studying, Jesus Christ clearly told (promises) His disciples that He will ask His Father to send them another comforter in the person of the Holy Spirit who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it is not looking for Him and doesn’t recognize Him. But you know Him, because He lives with you now and later will be in you.

In order words the Holy Spirit that lives in you is the Spirit of Christ dwelling inside of you.

As believers If you have the Spirit of Christ living in you, you will show how much you really love Him by simply keeping to Him commandments “His Truth” because the Holy Spirit detests sin.

I pray for you today that our comforter/advocate, comfort us from every side and also advocate for us in every situation of life in Jesus Christ Name.
