Hebrews 12:11 No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way.
Praise God. Discipline Is the practice of training people to obey rules or a code of behaviour, using punishment to correct disobedience.
This is what is lacking in our bethels, mostly among our leaders, they lack discipline but they often want their followers to be disciplined.
They love correcting other but don’t want to be corrected.
You can pretend to have passed through the stage of being disciplined but with time we will know because a disciplined person takes immediate correction without augments because he/she knows what it’s takes to be disciplined and the peaceful harvest thereof, with righteous living that comes with it, that is if the person have gone through such (discipline) training.
To you that wants to grow, to be disciplined for your errors is not wrong at all, it’s might not be good at the moment but trust me in future you will thank God that you went through it, I could remember how painful some of the rebuke I received from my parents were but today I can gladly call them and says thank you but it’s unforgettable how helpful they are to me today, not to talk of when it is the scripture that is your guide it’s rebukes you for so many things, beloved if you heed to them you will rejoice at last because God’s Discipline Proves His Love. I pray God help us to be discipline in His ways in Jesus Christ Name.
