2 Corinthians 7:10 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.
Praise God. It is better to be Godly even in sorrows than being worldly.
When you are being reprimanded in a Godly manner it is for your own good.
2 Corinthians 7:11 says
See what this godly sorrow has produced in you: what earnestness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what concern, what readiness to see justice done. At every point you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter.
It is okay to feel remorseful about what you did wrong. Do not feel angry when you are being punished for what you did wrong. Set your heart to repentance than finding faults and trying to prove yourself right.
Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret. If you are full of regret, cry out to God for repentance.
