Isaiah 37:36 That night the angel of the lord went out to the Assyrian camp and killed 185,000 Assyrian soldiers. When the surviving Assyrians woke up the next morning, they found corpses everywhere.
Praise God. In the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah’s reign, King Sennacherib of Assyria came to attack the fortified towns of Judah and conquered them. Then King Sennacherib threatens Jerusalem wanting to takeover Jerusalem from king Hezekiah, some officials went out to meet with them: Eliakim son of Hilkiah, the palace administrator; Shebna the court secretary; and Joah son of Asaph, the royal historian, these people went to meet King Sennacherib’s armies which was lead by their chief of staff, the Assyrian king’s chief of staff told them to give this message to Hezekiah:“This is what the great king of Assyria says: What are you trusting in that makes you so confident?, before such word, that means the Assyrian king thought king Hezekiah will be afraid of his name and power “that is what the enemies wants, for you to live in fear.
Brethren that is the word “What are you trusting in that makes you so confident? what will make you so confident even when you perceive that death is right beside you?, in this year 2021.
Beloved, know God for yourself and don’t allow mere human threaten you and your household with their fade word, rather let them see that in all their threats you are still firm and unshakable, definitely they will ask themselves what is he trusting in that makes him so confident?
Beloved note this👉🏻when God is your shepherd, you will be confident in His words “Psalms 91:2-5 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust. Surely He shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover me with His feathers, and under His wings shall I trust: His truth shall be my shield and buckler.
I shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day. If His words are rooted in you and you build your faith on Him, God will send His angels to the camp/kingdom of your enemies to kill them and leave a message of warning for their children.
Have confident in Christ and be rooted in His words.
