Romans 8:26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.
Praise God. The importance of The Holy Spirit can never be over emphasized. He is not just a teacher but also an intercessor. When we do not know what to pray for, He intercedes for us.
"And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God". Romans 8:27
The Lord knows that we His children will be weak in some season, so He gave us the Holy Spirit to help us in our weaknesses, we all have experienced weakness in one season or the other, there is a time were your mouth is to heavy to open and your eyes are weak to stay awake for prayers but your spirit is willing, at these point our intercessor takes over.
Many have misunderstood and say since the Holy Spirit intercede for me, then I will speak in tongues when am weak, I don’t know where people got that understanding from, please mind you the groaning of the Holy Spirit is soundless/wordless, if you speak in tongues you are the one praying in the Holy Ghost not the Holy Spirit interceding, please beware. You do not understand what you are saying. When speaking in tongues you are not making any request
God will give us understanding as we long to know the truth in Jesus Christ Name.
