Colossians 3:13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Praise God. As human, there is no how you can not be offended and there is no how you can not offend others. In one way or the other we step on each others toes.
The Lord knows that you can be offended, the is why He says "Forgive".
Forgiveness is one of the keys to happiness, it can never be over emphasised, if you truly want a happy life learn to forgive even before the offender asks for forgiveness. Bear with one another.
HOW TO FORGIVE EASILY
1) Do not expect so much from someone. Everyone can go wrong,if you are expecting much from a human you might be disappointed. No one is perfect.
2) Do not wait till you are asked of forgiveness before you forgive. Imagine that the person that offended you has already asked for forgiveness and let go.
3) Do not think much about how you were offended. If you keep remembering the circumstances surrounding the offends or what the person did to you, you will keep having grudges and keep getting angry.
4) Remember that if you do not forgive, your heavenly father will not forgive you. Matthew 6:12,14-15,
5) Ask for the spirit of Forgiveness.
Beloved, to you it might not seem easy but with the Holy spirit and when you are heaven conscious it will be very easy to forgive. Remember do not fake forgiveness because you will be doing yourself more harm than good. Forgive with you whole heart.
